truth be told, i've never really grown up. i still want to be dorothy skippin around with some ruby red slippers on my feet. preferably some christian louboutin ruby red slippers, but hey beggars can't be choosers. maybe i'll just dunk my feet in a bucket of glitter. i think it's common knowledge that the shoes are actually supposed to be silver, like in the book. they changed them to "ruby red" for the movie because they were using technicolor & wanted them to make more of a visual impact. smart move.
