La Dulce Vida

i went to THE cutest candy shop yesterday. it's called la dulceria. it was tucked away in a cute lil cobblestone neighborhood in valparaiso. they make assorted flavored hard candies and lollipops. i'm not a big fan of hard candies, but i gotta say these were pretty bomb. they have flavors like violet, wine, and pisco sour! when you walk around the area you'll see various lil ants painted on the floor that lead the way to the candy shop (a la hansel and gretel's bread crumbs). so ridiculously cute!

A Good Morning

my ideal way of starting the day is....drumroll please....sleeping in! it's also a major plus if you're sleeping in a big, fluffy, white bed and it's gloomy and cold outside. bring me a gigantic cup of joe and some avocado toast and this lil lady is a happy camper. the trick is to stay in bed as long as possible and watch old movies. that's the life.

Bad Hair Day

going to the salon always gives me anxiety. i never know how much to tip. they always seem to overcharge. either you or the hairdresser always winds up oversharing personal information. total awkwardville. i always come out expecting to look like veronica lake, but usually come out looking more like shirley temple.
