Don't Panic

don't you hate it when you sleep in through your alarm clock? you wake from a nice slumber, check your clock, realize you should've been up an hour ago, see that you must have switched the "off" button (not the "snooze" one) in a foggy haze of sleepiness. you immediately jump out of bed as if you've just been miraculously raised from the dead, switch your brain to panic mode, & continue getting ready as fast as humanly possible as if you had a drill sergeant firing bb gun pellets @ your feet. you're kicking yourself all whilst still remembering that vivid dream from a few moments ago...come on, body! did you have to wake up an hour late?! not like 10-15 minutes? geeeeeez

if you get a chance check out the wildfox couture website...i really love their collection photo stories...uber girly & fun. my fave is the summer '09 (the last 2 ones shown above)...makes you want a slumber party & a competitive game of girl talk. remember that? that was always good times.

this is a fun song to put on when you're getting ready to go out on a friday night while you're gettin your hair did & gluein on those lashes...love me some aaliyah...enjoy!

Gimme Gucci

a little birdie (aka nymag) just told me that ridley scott is doing a movie about maurizio gucci during the glamorous disco era!!! even more exciting angelina jolie might play his ex-wife who plotted to murder him & leo might play mr. gucci himself. you know i love me some disco so i'm definitely gonna keep my radar up for more info on this one...
