while i do loooove his historical references i can see what she's saying. i see how all the other houses are moving forward & evolving. john even at his "weakest" still tops most of the others. sometimes i feel he's catering to some of the older, loyal clientele who can actually afford this shtuff.

the other night i got sucked into watching an infomercial selling some "greatest songs of the sixties" cd shiz. what fascinated me was seeing who actually sang all those songs you've grown up listening to but never really knew the name of the band, song, or what they looked liked. it's kinda funny cause a lot of the time i thought some of those tunes were sung by a black singer, but they were really just some skinny white dudes from england trying to be beatles. anywho, here's some of my faves & such & some stuff i haven't heard in awhile:

perfect rainy day movie: how to steal a million. my fave scene is when audrey wears that black lace ensemble w/ the mask. it's so cliche' but she just really always got it right, & those eyes! it's kinda sad how she really didn't like the way she looked.
